Words Matter 2012-Day 5 Blog Challenge

Here’s the blog challenge question for Friday, March 9, 2012.
Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind. Rudyard Kipling for Words Matter Week 2012
If you had to eliminate one word or phrase from the English language, what would it be?  Why?

Words Matter Week, a holiday
that is celebrated annually the
first full week in March, the
National Association of
Independent Writers and Editors (NAIWE) is hosting a Blog Challenge with a specific daily topic Monday through Friday.

Each blogger who posts responses to all five questions will be entered into a random drawing for a $25 gift card from Amazon (nothing better than books for a word-lover!). The winner will be announced in the next issue of The Edge, NAIWE’s e-mail newsletter (if you don’t receive it yet, you may subscribe at NAIWE.com.

When you compose your challenge post, remember to write it on your own blog, and include a link to the post with the specific question. When you publish your post, come back to this site and leave the title of your blog response and a link to your blog in the comments section of the post you are answering.   2. I also found out about this challenge too late and only finished answering to the challenges of the first two days. I’m still new to this and still stumbling, but you have to start Somewhere. Cheers!
